Camera Labs

Hey all,

I've been approached by a friend to take photos for her university convocation. She currently resides in a 100+ year old home so I was thinking photos around this house as well as some nice outdoor shots would be appropriate. Knowing her personality, she's a very outdoorsy natural type of person, so I feel like outdoor shots would be essential. Also, her sister (who shares an essentially identical personality) was looking for photos of her for her yoga business. I'm just looking for some random tidbits of advice that anyone might have. Thanks.

I cant offer any advice for the convocation photos. But i can offer advice for the yoga photos.

A central theme in most good yoga pictures is nature and specifically the color green. Poses like "Lotus" "crane" "lord of dance" "forward stretch pose" and "tree" are very effective to displaying skill and difficult but beautiful poses. Also work with the angles in the body and the background. I hope this helps
