Post subject: Living in a Small Town

There are a few movies being shot on the streets around my house including a new muppets movie (fun of living in a small uptown metropolitan area in suburban LA I guess) and I was taking pictures of the sets.

While walking home my parents were arriving on their bikes after visiting the local cafe. I took the opportunity to capture a couple pictures of them as the sun was setting. Just thought I would share

I like the color and the DoF, but on the second one I would crop a little closer (perhaps a portrait crop instead of landscape... the moment (kiss) seems to get lost). At least that's my humble amateur opinion.

And, congratulations on having parents that do things together and seem to love each other. Nothing better than looking at a functional loving family to start the day. :-)

Thanks for the response and I see where you are coming from, however, because the pictures were candid (sorta) I mean they did kiss for the picture but I like leaving them natural and untouched.

ALso I couldn't agree more with what you said about parents. Living at home with two people that love each other is more than I could ever ask for. Best present of all
