Camera Labs

Today was my first day with a real DSLR. I borrowed a friends while I wait for mine to be delivered this week. I have a LOT to learn, but wanted to share a picture I just took tonight to see if I'm at least on track. I'll have to invest in a proper flash, but funds are tight for now as I've just spent what I could on my kit. Can't wait to get my own camera this week.

Edited only to add B&W background. CC is welcome as I'm just pointing and shooting at this point.

Nice work for a first effort - have fun with the new camera, and just remember, with digital, you can play and test drive and experiment to your heart's content and just delete what doesn't work. It's the best way to learn and lots of fun.
