ok... I guess this is the appropriate section

Took this picture of my girlfriend and her nephew during his 1st birthday party. The lighting was horrible(no lights on at all, cloudy outside) I had to use fill light and some exposure adjustments in lightroom to bring it back, I usually wouldn't "over-process" this much... looking for CC. Thanks!

however, the photo to me doesn't look like anything special although it does give off a warm vibe which tells me you chose a safe temp.

I am not entirely sure what you are going for here though
was this shot set up and wanted critiquing on?
or was this just a candid you liked and wanted to share?

A good start, but I think the fan and the guy in back are distracting.

I guess from what your saying is that you'd like a CC on your post-processing... I don't see any PP, which is a good thing. So thumbs up on that.

As far as the picture goes, and again, I'm not sure if you're looking for suggestions on that, I'd give it a title of "Nice candid"... nothing to hang on a wall, but something to keep for memory sake and get your aunt to say "that's a nice picture"

Your right guys, I was just looking for some input on the PP. I don't really like grain in color photos, but found it impossible to aviod in processing this. Just wondering if it was too much! The picture itself is just another "party picture".

The background is very distracting, think of you had shot against a plain wall it'd be more of a portrait. It just looks like a general, albeit lovely, shot as is. Try again with them posed on a chair maybe. Both very photogenic and definitely worth doing a proper shoot of. Get them close to a window for some nice strong natural light. You won't need to push the iso up so much.
