it's magnificent ! it's not just the fame of being a rare collectible lense that worth$3,500+, it actually work very good, the colors and sharpness is just amazing, even at 1.2
you can check it's picture on my flickr or in the lenses gallery in our forum.

I lost the Color version somewhere in My computer
But I just took these ones today, my second shots to test DOF
all these were taken at f/5.6 and it remained shallow
let me know what you think
and you photos are very good
I hope one day to produce photos like yours (:

the 1st shot of the cranes have good composition :)
you can make it even more colorful by cranking up the saturation of the D300 :)
it makes a big difference.
