I'll probably be going to the North West Highlands in the summer and you'll probably have to wait until then; I don't think I'll be going to the Highlands anytime soon. I probably won't be posting any photos for a few weeks, because I've got exams. :(

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Anticipation is a great thing, a great feeling...and I am looking forwards to your next landscape extravaganza, with great anticipation..whenever you get around to getting around to the Highlands, is fine...in the mean time, ya got any ducks?

I agree, cheeeeeeezbrgr...I can see Samwise, Pippin and Merry and Bill the pony wandering thru the twighlight, and maybe those rock pillars were
once alive, and turned to stone, when the sun rose...oh, what a place to have a good imagination..

You obviously know what you are doing...beautyfull photographs.
I've been in Scottland a few years ago....but i was not into photography at the time. I hope i can visit it again soon......i imagine you could almost point your camera in either direction en get a beautyfull landscape photo.

Very nice!
I have the feeling that Scotland will be the next big thing (photography-wise) after New Zealand. Zorro and Calmac, you should be organizing a "summer school" for photographers, a guided tour to all the beautiful places  :!:

I'm sure I could help put together a list and description of all the best places and put it on the internet sometime.

I'd be up for adding to that list if you wanted?

and I want a copy of the list, and had better be gettin a passport.

Between h. peter, and my beloved "Borders" ala calmac I could leave southern California, and not look back..but what would I do with my horse.

Serious Envy, here, you two...love these landscapes.
