Went up my local Hill tonight, and decided to try some sunset shots, I have never done this before only sunrise. Love the last one myself. I think its not a bad effort for my 1st time doing a sunset. I can't remember last time I actually sat down and watched the sun go down :)

I only seem to take sunset shots - not managed to be out of doors yet for a sunrise. Perhaps later in the year when it happens later.... ;)

I like the colours in the sky in shots 2 and 3, though 3 has the edge on if for me as the foreground is a little brighter in that one. Nice to have a local hill to get you the good vantage point. :)

Thanks Sarah, have managed to edit the photo in Lightroom, so much better here are the results!

I find it difficult to get natural tones and colours when I push shadows in lightroom. The edited one strikes a good balance. Sometimes reducing vibrancy by 5-10 pips after adding fill light can make the colours less HDR-ish

That last one is pretty nice, I like the edited version a lot more though, there's a lot more detail and clarity, though I agree with kimchi, reducing the vibrancy a bit might give less of that HDR look, but personally I do like it the way it is, nice job :)
