Those weeds in your picture have become invasive here, but they do make a nice picture! I like the contrasting colors. Did you take that picture around a place that has water? We find those plants everywhere here now, but especially in marshy areas, ditches, and along rivers and creeks. I was out today taking similar pictures.

Darth, what camera were you using, and did you have any problems with the pictures turning out too bright? I'd be interested in knowing what setting you were using if you don't mind. I had mine on TV today, ISO 80 - 100 mostly (200 max) with higher f stops. (Just out working with different settings today - will work more with AV settings next time out.) Had some trouble at times seeing the screen because it was really bright out. Well below freezing today, but a nice day for pictures.

I like the POV & colours against the snow. Possibly crop as a pano & get rid of the sky?

well first of all thanks for the comments all the pics i am posting here were shot in about a 5 minut walk from each other it is done buy a snow sleding hill and old train tracks no water to be had any were, i got neet device for xmas called a hoodloup that goes over the screen so you can see the screen in bright light and on the fist pic i love the blowen out detail and as dor the crop i was thinking about a tighter crop but i liked the openess of the shot and i tryed so many ways and i thought this worked the best ( it is so tougff some times to get that crop just right lolol
and the camer setting if i remember right were 100 at f/8 it was very brght and as you can see from the other pics the sun was 30 minutes from going down very fun and chalanging
