Hi everyone,

Please visit my Flickr page:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/12801949@N02/

where you will find a number of new images taken in the New Forest. Today was a beautiful (but cold) morning, and we had some early diners at the waterhole. It is quite unusual to find 3 herons so close together like this - at least I've never seen it before.

Lovely shots and a very nice catch of the Herons!

I particularly like your shot of the fallen tree and the bridge - the composition draws my eyes along.

Thank you for sharing.

Cheers :-)

let me see, it is hard to pick just one, they are all pretty special...

I seem to keep coming to the Bridge and Fallen Tree, at Black Knowl...
I want to stand there....and those mosaics...how cool...I can not even imagine the work you put into them..gorgeous.

Going back, now, I like the one you have titled Fallen Tree at Black Knowl
it would appear, she has stayed there a long time with her arms stretched up. Quietly, Sadly, a little Forlorn, and beautiful..solitary in her demise. You did good!!

Hi Greg,

I'm sure you are familiar with the site already but for those interested in digital mosaics there is the article Large Digital Mosaics as a Substitute for Large Format Film over at Roger Clark's site which might make for interesting reading. 8)

Hi Bob,

Thank you very much for that link! No - I hadn't seen this one before. The Internet is a VERY big place :)
