Camera Labs

Well after a few days of below zero a hoar frost was on the cards, the problem was i was in a meeting for most of the day so i didnt get out with the camera until my lunch break, a little too late but still some nice photos.

This is mainly around the town where i live and work, Alexandra, Central Otago, New Zealand. Didnt take too long with compositions and im not overly happy with some of the focussing, bit shabby on some of the shots but speed was of the essence.

Some mild HDR on some shots, not hard to spot but mosty just pp in photoshop for levels, contrast and color.

The Lower Manorburn Dam just a few km up the road. I decided to leave the HDR sauce at home this time

Temperatures have been constantly around -9 to -2 for about a Week now but the hoare frost is beginning to melt.

I took the photos in a 20 min lunch break, so didn't spend too long composing them.

The panoramics are stitched using panorama maker and pp is in photoshop 7, I should really upgrade.

Any feedback welcomed, positive and negative.

I think my framing on some of the trees is a little too tight.

Great sets!! My favorite is the very first one. Being from Canada i never new u guys got frost down there, i thought it was all sun and beaches!!
