A pair of photos I took this summer. That village, in the valley, is actually where I stayed, many memories. The fog looked better live :( any tips for next time?

The saturation is a bit too much for my taste, but other than that, they look good. They are well composed and the fog definitely makes these shots!

Yes… You are right about the saturation. It’s a commune problem of mine. I’m easily carried away when editing photos.

Hmm, great scene you've captured.
But fog means desaturation and low micro contrast.
If you're using Lightroom try pushing the slider for clarity to the left!
Just work on the faded greyish, drab look.

Hi there,
Following your advice, I have reedited the first pic (can’t find the original second, but it was a JPG anyway). Should be better. Thanks.
