I used a Lee 0.6 ND hard grad filter for this shot.

Beautiful, but I think it's a little overexposed in the lowest part of the sky. Good job nonetheless :D

Nice shot, elbeasto! I agree with pierovera about the overexposure, but it's still great

My best landscape from today:

Nice shot! Just wondering, did you use a telephoto lens? If you did, or even if you didn't, what focal length were you using?

It's cropped in a little so that probably gives it the sense of tele.

Thanks mate, I re-edited and replaced the shot.
I did a bit of dodge and burning so as to bring down the brightest parts, water & sun/sky & brought up the ferry a little.

I didn't really see it at first because I underexposed it by about 2 stops and therefore brightened it too much in post.
I prefer the new edit now though.

Cheers for the help. :D

Clifford Rourke Photo Thanks Giving Travels- 6 by Mojave Cliff, on Flickr

Hats off to Janern and Robbon above. Wonderful sights to behold.

Found myself a part of this shot early on Thanks Giving day near Barstow Ca.
