Captured some dramatic scenes during sun-down with my trusty old Sigma 400/5.6 lens:

Almost gone:


Processing was only a lifting of the black-point in the 1st and some clarity and vibrancy adjustments in #3. All taken at -3EV.
(DISCLAIMER: NEVER do this with mirror up, NEVER do this with manual exposure, NEVER do this with the bright, unshielded sun at day. You might ruin your shutter, your sensor, your eye-sight!)

Nice dramatic shots Thomas that's how I would imagine the end of the world.
You bet -3 EV did you use a filter?

I just dialed the -3EV in as exposure compensation. No filters were harmed in these shots Aperture was f/11 in the first shot, f/22 in #2+#3.
