Hi

I would like to start a thread about HDR techniques, how-to's, tips, opinion about software to be used, bracketing advise, etc. I'm not sure which format would be used, how people should approach the subject, but I do think that the technical aspect should be emphasised.

Basically, I think we should talk about it as it offers some unique perspectives and, especially, results! What do you think?

Great idea Ant, I'm all for it. I feel like I'm the only one not doing HDR's right now. Is there a particularly clear tutorial out there that some of you like?

Hi Ant, that's a good idea - and it should go in the Imaging Software section.

I'd really like to see a beginners, step by step HDR tutorial a bit like Steve's on creating that Tilt and Shift effect. But before doing anything, check out this thread first as there's loads of great info and examples in there:

With Mark's excellent tutorial (brilliant work, Mark) now in place and as the techniques are software driven I'll lock this thread now and ask that further threads about how to get the best out of HDR be continued in the Imaging Software forum.

But please feel free to post the finished landscapes back here in the Landscape photography forum where we can all admire them.
