Nice shot - I love those big Tunas... were you in Tsukiji fish market? I was once chased by a man with a cleaver there when I stumbled into the wholesale area by 'mistake' and started taking photos of what might have been whale!

Lol, thats really funny Gordon! When I was there a few weeks ago I narrowly avoided being run over by the wheely truck things that zoom round. I'd have loved to have carefully composed and taken shots of the tuna sawing in action, and other things, but its a working market and often stopping, even for a few seconds, is just not possible!

For me though it was a case of experience first, photographs second- I enjoyed the morning there and sushi breakfast, and wasn't too bothered that I couldn't take too many photographs.

Getting around that place was a nightmare! I also nearly got taken out by the carts that go around. I have complete confidence in the guys' ability to maneuver them so that I don't get hit, but it's still pretty terrifying to have a cart zoom by two inches from you!

I agree with Steve, and it's a feeling I got a lot when I was in Tokyo. It's such a visual overload that I was having trouble balancing taking it all in and trying to get a few pics. It was probably a good thing that I didn't have a DSLR at that point, or I might have spent even more time taking pics and not enjoying the rest of the experience!
