I went back here for the first time in 10 years. Not so much has changed, but I heard tourist outnumber locals in the winter.

The first one is certainly eye catching with the vibrant colours, I’m surprised at the amount of in-focus considering the exif of f1.8, interesting set.

@4xxxx - yes and ISO3200 I think too! I wasn't prepared for this scene when it appeared. I grabbed my camera and didn't change the settings from the previous evening's night shots

Really? ISO 3200? Looks great to be that ISO, not any noise that I can see, which camera did you use?

I just checked the EXIF and it was actually ISO 1600. I used the Panasonic G3 & Olympus 45mm prime. I only noticed the wrong ISO choice in Lightroom later in the week.

The positioning of the ISO button (among others) and the lack of anywhere to put your thumb on the G3 mean that these buttons are often annoyingly accidently pushed and settings changed without the photographer's knowledge.

It looks OK at 800 pix. High ISO at fast shutter speeds (1250 here) and good light are generally not too bad.

Yeah, I've seen that higher shutter speeds do make noise less noticeable when using high ISOs.
