It is 104 photos of the arc de triomphe (7 for each as it is HDR), used to create an object that you can spin around, zoom into etc. Kinda like a 360 photo but instead of your view being the centre point looking outwards at differnt angles, you always look towards the centre point, albeit from a differnt angle each time.

I tried to embed a video, but I cannot seem to do that here either, so for a non-interactive video version, you can watch it on youtube.

Not as long as you would imagine. I guess 2 - 3 hours to take the photos. 5 for total processing. 1 hour upload. So 9 hours of effort. An enjoyable weekend I think:)

The process was:

-Add photos to LR
-Basic processing and corrections
-output to tiffs (16bit)
-batch process with photomatix (did it overnight)
-re-add to LR
-batch process colour with exposure 4
-fine tune the position of the Arc de Triomphe so it is not jumping everywhere (I could have spent more time on this, but I have to stop somewhere plus I had a system to take the photos at the same angle/level (vertical axis) to reduce having to adjust the final images too much, so it was more the horizontal axis I had to adjust)
-create the object using KRPANO (http://krpano.com/) (I use this for all my panos, like the gigapixel photos, 360 tours etc)

Nice work DP, I really like this one, if each shot is HDR, why no blur of the moving traffic

Thanks. The anti ghosting is pretty good. I think what you may get is the odd light/dark patches instead of ghosts of cars.
