Hi,

I love travelling by car, and what I do most of the time is sit in the navigator's seat armed with my Panasonic LZ2 and shoot whatever I find good. The Mega OIS does a fantastic job, and I get blur free images from the window!

I want to buy a new camera, but without sacrificing on this feature. I was considering the Canon EOS 1000D, and it seems capable enough. But, now I am also considering the Fuji HS10, which uses a sensor-shift image stabilization. Upon reading about that I found that this form of image stabilization is only for minor handshakes, not for moving vehicles specifically.

I am worried about this part. Though Fuji claims high ISO as another option, I prefer to stay away from it as far as possible. All my LZ2 shots are blur free at 100ISO. Is the Fuji capable of the same? If not, is its high ISO quality really as good as Fuji claims?

Thanks,
Jinay

Best option for a good pic....

STOP the car and take the time to get out and get a pic.

I/S isn't magic.
