OK, here we go, never posted my own pictures, I figured it's about time :)

Here are some shots from a trip to the Maldives while visiting the capital, Malé. While I didn't think the city (well, island, actually) is pumped with exciting monuments or spectacular buildings, I liked the atmosphere and that's what I tried to capture.
Afterwards, I converted to B&W using Photoshop&RealGrain Plugin...

The main road...

What's behind that door?

A gym? Really?

Right outside the fish market...

A small store...

Thanks for C&C!

Good shots. If you travel through India, you will find the same views there also.

thanks, sarojkumarss, I'd like to travel to India very much, but I'll need more time to spend (that I don't have at the moment) since there's so much to see and do :)

And some more photos also from the island where we stayed...

thanks! Before I converted to B&W, I modified the RAW, adding some contrast, saturation and sharpness - well, just to use the Ilford Delta 400 pattern over it afterwards :)

I think they would have looked better in colour. The highly saturated colours would have been pretty.

Thanks for sharing.
