Spent the last few weeks doing fieldwork in Belize. Some really incredible successional tropical forest there. The superzoom just doesn't do it justice, but thought I'd share a few anyway.

I love all of these. The river shots are amazing. Great job. It would have been nice to have some wide angle shots. Please post more if you have them.

Thanks for all the comments, everyone! The support is very much appreciated.

rogersjt, unfortunately, since I'm using a superzoom, these shots are as wide as they get. I do agree, though... a wider shot or two would have been nice. I haven't gone through the rest of the photos yet, but if I find some other decent ones in the next few days I'll be sure to put them up.

daspeedz, the largest versions I can upload to the net are posted on my Flickr.

jaxzwolf....
incredible glimpse into that hidden world..most of us know we are tied to the rain forests in ways we can not even guess. To see the forest thru the eyes of a friend, is really a gift, thank you for posting these, and I hope you will find more to share, it holds it's own fascination.
