Well i already own Pentax K10D, and I like it, i bought it because i thought that the quality of photos is much better than of a Sony A300.. sony has several features that i extremely like such as tilting lcd and liveview,
but could anyone tell me, comfort me or encourage to act,
what about image quality? noise levels which camera is better?
thanks.

Pentax noise levels are better than Sony or Olympus cameras(from what I saw). And a small advice: try to keep below ISO 800 with a CCD sensor camera.
I personally did some tests with a K10D from the local Pentax affiliate in my country & I was very impressed with the results. Even the kit lens performed beautiful. The RAW files pack all the details you need & of course,I tunned the settings for JPEGS & got beautiful results.

The a300 sensor (same a200 sensor) is a new version of the K10D/GX-10, D80, D40x and a100. This sensor is a new SuperHAD with max ISO 3200.

Here is the example to ISO 800 between a200 (same sensor) and K10D:

a200

K10D
http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/K ... LI0800.HTM

And here to ISO 1600 NR off

a200

K10D
http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/K10D/FULLRES/K10DhSLI1600.HTM

The noise control is good in the Alpha cameras and the a200/a300 is entry level segment and the K10D is like D80.

The noise, for me, is better in a200/a300...

The difference is so small...but you won't use above ISO 800 with a CCD sensor camera anyway. At that level, the results still look good.

Yes, but the ISO level to ISO 800 and 1600 is better...

To ISO 3200 is not bad for price and quality, this is the max ISO level in this camera...

This is the better CCD sensor now...

Looks like the K10d is a bit better.. well I have the K10d and my uncle the A300.. I prefer the K10d in use.. you dont have to go into menus all the time and it feels better in my hands.
