Hi,

I HAVE A FUJI FINEPIX S9500 I WANT TO PURCHASE ND FILTERS BUT NOT SURE WHAT IS COMPATABLE WITH THE CAMERA ALSO I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT EBAY WHERE THERE IS A LOT OF FILTERS FOR SALE AND LOW COST.

CAN SOMEONE KEEP MY RIGHT AS TO WHAT I CAN AND WHAT I CAN'T PURCHASE FOR THIS CAMERA I HAVE BEEN TO FUJI WEBSITE AND THEY DON'T LIST ANY FILTERS FOR THIS CAMERA.

I don't see why any 58mm ND filter should not work - the problems occur with polarising filters, I believe. Turning the sensitivity to minimum (ISO 100 for the S6500fd, but I think you can go to 80) is basically what I do, but only the ND filter would work if you want a longer shutter speed and/or wider aperture than the metering indicates. Having said all that, I've only used ND filters with film. And overexposing is not a good look on digital.
