Hi everyone,

Just joined the ranks but have been browsing this forum for some time now. I've finally caught the bug to get a little more serious about my photography and am wondering if anyone here knows how I can get the most out of my S5500? Apparently it is the same or very similar to the S5000, most likely it's just an Australian release of the US model.

I also have the Finepix wide angle lens which has given me little joy. Not sure if I'm using it properly but I don't get the deeper perspective I expected when taking macros.

I will try to post some of my shots tonight to show what I've managed so far.

Regards,
Wazr

Hi Wazr, welcome on-board!

You may find some of these tips useful, even if you can't access all the modes on your particular model: www.dslrtips.com.
