Bob thanks for the update. I currently have a Sony HX5 and the new sont HX9, while potentially very appealing does not have a RAW option. The Fuji F550 does and that may well be the difference that gets me to change brands.

I hope that Gordon will be able to review both. His review of the HX5 was instrumental in my buying that camera and overall I have been very happy with it.
