A few days I found an offer for the Samsung WP10 for 155 Euros.
After some quick research the Samsung WP10 is a brand new camera waterproof up to 10 feet with a 5 x zoom and 720p video. The German Samsung website even states a price of 249 €. When Sony showed the first glimpse of the HX5 and a few weeks later the waterproof TX5 I was quite tempted towards the TX5. But the feature set from the HX5 were just too good and the TX5 with 350 $/€ was just a bit too expensive for my taste.
And now nearly the same main features as the TX5 for less than half the price, this I had to check out. My local camera store who sold me my Ricoh R6, HX1 and HX5 had the same WP10 for 149 Euro.
Now I have a week time to put her to the test to see if for that price I can live with the camera.

I think for that money it is a great bad weather camera and I look forward to another storm surge hitting our coast.
