Hi everybody,

For quite some time I have been doubting between the Panasonic TZ10 and the Sony HX5. But I just found out Samsung has a quite good one: the WB650. But I couldn't find the review for it on cameralabs.com

It's quite an amazing camera it has 15x optical zoom, 12MP,a 24mm Schneider - Kreuznach lens and gps WITH A MAP

Can anyone shed any light on what the images look like? can it compete with the TZ10 or HX5?

The Samsung WB650 was mentioned in the thread below as well but it got no respons, I hope I will get some...

I'm also considering this as an alternative to the Sony HX5, since I decided that I preferred it over the Panasonic TZ10. The miniature and map view mode on the Samsung HZ35W / WB650 are pretty cool as well.

My only issue is that I couldn't find reviews on it, at least what seemed to be professional ones. But here is what I have found so far.

Samsung compact cameras produce the worst image quality that I saw over the internet...however,the newer models could be better.

Looks like the Samsung HZ35W / WB650 uses a CCD sensor, so I guess it's susceptible to streaks from bright spots in video recording the way the Panasonic Panasonic ZS7 / TZ10 is.
