hey my pentaxians, i bought into the darkside-that being of samsung 6 months ago, being only '16 it was my first dslr. I just wanted to show you guys my forst 6 months worth of photos,

problem is i cant really sell on any stock sites (2 sales in a year lol) so i was wondering if you guys could offer critique on my photography and say where its going wrong in a stock point of view,

I had a look at your portfolio and I really like this picture : the city of london school and st. pauls



The dramatic effect is obtained by the use of the rule of thirds and the diagonals pointing to St Pauls, with a light and dark contrast.

You're telling a story, and the eyes are moving within the picture.



Do you feel the energy

When I started shooting with my K10D, I realized I needed to refresh my basics, so I bought a couple of books to re-learn the depth of field, composition, and so on. I've much more pleasure now when I shoot - I wouldn't say my pictures are better
