These shots look very good indeed. I think the colours and dynamic range are better too. I wouldn't mind seeing some 100% crop comparisons of high ISO shots. Did you use auto WB for these shots, particularly the indoor shots? And did you use the expanded dynamic range setting in any of these shots? And which film simulation mode did you use? The standard Provia or any of the others?
I'd also like to know what the Fuji's firmware version is.

Ok that's one thing i did not say, the fuji set to provia mode is not as good as the 450D, the settings i did use were provia with sharpness hard, color hard, and tone hard, and the 450D settings were set to sharpness 4, and also saturation contrast and so on up by one so it is a good comparison, also i used auto WB but i also had the WB tuning set to red +2 and the yellow at -2 and the dynamic range was set to auto, also about the high ISO it's not as good as the 450D, i can post more shots if you would like, even with the fuji set to standard setting, on the firmware version i am not sure which it is;)
