Did Pentax raised some prices on their lenses or is it just me? I saw yesterday in the local shop that a price of DA star 50-135mm f2.8 is around $1800, as far as I remember last month is around $1000. Some other lenses to just not as much as 50-135mm

http://www.thecamerastore.com/products/catalog/slr-lenses/pentax-da-50-135-f28-ed-sdm

now these 2 stores are 3 blocks away from each other and bot of them had a price last month around $1000

I knew I had this written somewhere.
Pentax DA star 16-50mm F/2.8 was $828.78 and now is $932.65, and in the other store is $999.95
Pentax DA star 50-135mm F/2.8 was $929.33 and now is $1525.23, and in the other store is $1799.00

I don't know if the price is going to stay like that or it will come down again, but I will definitely not buy them now. I was planing to buy those 2 with K20D, but they will have to wait. For now I am buying just the camera and using my old lenses.

Wow I hope they dont start jacking up the prices on their equipment especially since I just purchased my first Pentax DSLR.

Yeah I would buy from the camera labs website except we are canadian and with the exchange rate we will end up paying more plus more for shipping and handling. Unless of cource you get a good price in the united states.
