I have been looking at the review of Alpha 200.
About the Eye Start feature- is this optional so you can switch on or off?

Yes, you can switch it off in one of the 'custom'-menus of the camera.

And when you switch the Eye Start AF off, the sensors beneath the viewfinder to still switch the screen off when you look through the VF. A screen that will stay on is very annoying... :x

:D

Indeed, i was tryin to get a proper shot of the moon the other night (it was so beatiful that one night :)), and someway it got turned off. And i kinda freaked out, both because it was annoying as hell (It was totally dark in the room) and because i thought the the sensors, were damaged. But found it, and now it's as good as it's always been :D
