Great review and nice to see those Devon shots of King Harry ferry - Such a shame then that those nice men at Sony won't sell you an HX50V in the United Kingdom so getting a gps fix in the metadata is a big no no!

Maybe they have fallen for that old adage popular among Americans that Britain is such a small island everyone knows everyone else and the whole country like the back of their hand?

Methinks Sony have shot themselves in the foot - if they can find that without GPS - I for one if buying this camera would have to look for a "grey" import into the UK as I think GPS is one of the features that a Travel Zoom should have.

I agree Simmy, which is why I bought an HX50V for the review. Now that my tests are finished though, I'm selling it - preferably to a UK address - for 250 GBP plus postage. Are you interested? It's boxed and in mint condition.
