Hi!I am about to bye a compact camera.I was going to buy Sony dsc-t50 but recently i saw dsc-t100 and i have change my mind. But now i saw a review of N2 and i am a little comfussed.I like the touch screen and the 10 megepixels of n2 but i think that the t100 is a better camera even if it has 8 megapixels .Please help me to understand the differences of those two cameras.Which is the best?Which takes better shots?I am not interrested of manual setting etc.I just want from the camera to do all the work from it self with the best result.I want crystal photos with the less noise and the best collors. Thanks

Hi Jimmisrouvas, welcome to the Cameralabs forums!

I'm afraid I've not tested the T100, so can't say whether it's a better camera than the N2. You can see the full Sony range here though and compare features:

http://www.cameralabs.com/cameras/Sony/

Apart from resolution and the look of the camera, the main differences I can see are that the T100 has a more powerful 5x optical zoom compared to 3x on the N2, and that the N2 has a touch-screen. The T100 also supports an optional component cable which gives better quality slideshows when connected to an HDTV.

There isn't much difference in quality between 8 and 10 megapixels, so don't let that influence your decision too much.

I think the final decision will boil down to which you prefer the look of, and whether you love or hate the idea of a touch screen.

I'm guessing you've already seen it, but our review of the N2 is here:

and our video tour is here:

I'd recommend going into a store and picking both up in person to see which you prefer in terms of look and feel.

Gordon
