My Sony a200 viewfinder has become blurry, making the metering information unreadable and the image of the subject itself never comes into focus, although the resulting photograph is focused perfectly. Has anyone run into this issue with their Sony DSLRs?

Thanks in advance!

Robin

Maybe you accidentally adjusted the diopmeter? Its the little wheel on the left hand side of the viewfinder. Try turning it, and if the focus changes, turn until the metering scales is crisp. At that point, all should be well.

Hope that works.

Thank you so much, and I thought something was wrong! I've never had to adjust that before so it didn't even to occur to me!

No problems. Glad to hear it wasn't anything more serious.
