Hi all please forgive me I am a newbie here. We have the A300 DLSR. We have a bunch of pics on the card. My wife usually does the uploading. She uploaded pics before and it worked fine. This last time she went to upload them and nothing even shows up on the computer acknowledging it. On top of that it drains the battery down to nothing. You cant even turn on the camera. We have to fully charge the battery then you try plugging it in to upload same thing happens and battery shot within minutes again. We are really puzzled by this. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks in advance,
Greg

I would recommend you getting a card reader. It is usually faster than transferring through the camera, and it saves the battery of the camera.

Fine that you have found the "missing link" 8)
That problem would have been hard to diagnose here in the forum :)
