Was Browsing Fry's website to see what DSLRs they have (was thinking of going in and playing around with some of the newer models) and I saw something peculiar...

Apparently, they're selling the A350K for ~$437. That's ~$160 less than what they're selling the A300K for, and ~$60 less than the A200K. It's an older gen camera, but it seems to be a rather cheap price. So, if you're in the US and have a Fry's nearby, it may be worth looking into. It's store-pickup only, no delivery.

On Amazon, it sells for $712.00.

As for me, I won't be getting one. Not enough of an upgrade from the A300. Can't justify upgrading cameras right now either, the A300 suits me just fine. I just find the pricing verrrry surprising.

Hmm. Check out their ResellerRatings listing here. But if it's a store pickup then you should be able to check things out before handing over the cash.

I know their ratings on that site are rather poor, but they really do have an excellent return policy. It's essentially no questions asked. I'd hesitate ordering from them online, but since they're a brick and mortar store, it's rather easy to walk in and get problems resolved. When I buy components from a retail store rather than online, it's usually at Fry's.

One thing I did notice though, was that it's not available at any of my local Fry's (Houston, and for that matter Austin). So I think it's very selectively available.

EDIT: Hmm... 'Includes display items' seems to be a recurring hit when performing searches. If the store has it, it could be a display item. Be wary and call ahead...
