Hi, I've been using my Alpha for a few months now and I only have one concern. When I put my Minolta 70-210mm telephoto zoom lens on, it seems kind of like I'm forcing it to connect to the camera. It just doesn't seem as smooth as the stock 18-70mm lens that comes with the Alpha. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Also will this affect the camera in any way or break the connecting point?

Thank you,
Tommy

If it's an old Minolta with metal mount my experience is that the fit is somewhat tighter. I like that about them old Minolta lenses :) What version of 70-210mm do you have? The old 70-210/4 or the newer 70-210/4.5-5-6 or something else?

Thank you! That made me feel better about it. the lens is a Kalimar 70-210mm, I don't know the aperture range though.
