(hello my name is murray and im a alphaholic)

ive recently bought the a200 kit and sigma 70-300(non apo) and just starting out with wildlife photography i only glanced through the reviews for this lense (very mixed reviews)but for the price i paid i could not pass it up, now i have the chance of getting the tamron 70-300di

my question is this will i be better off getting the tamron and selling the sigma or is thier not much difference between the two?

thanks in advance

There have been countless reports of gear stripping using the Sigma 70-300 on the alpha system, albeit it was only regarding the APO version I believe. You may be better off with the tamron, or have both in your hands for comparison and then sell the inferior.

I agree with Sublimity.

(If money permits, you might be better off with Sony 70-300mm G.)
