As I expected, my source was spot on with the information he gave me. The lower framerate comes as a surprise, but it's an effective way of cutting costs.

Yes you are, and at a few other places such as GetDPI maybe. Stay good friends with your contact please :D. I am particularly interested in any news of CZ lenses, and I am not the only one I think. Cheers, Bob.

I'm sure you're not the only one! I haven't been told anything about Zeiss lenses coming up at the next announcement, but we'll see the 500mm f/4 G SSM... Can't wait to see the price of that baby. :)
