Hello qvist, and welcome to the friendly Camera Labs forum!
This question has certainly to be answered by Gordon.
But what about your own experience with the brand-new gear? There are certainly other people here in the forum that would like to hear from a user

We are hoping to get hold of a final production A700 in the near future, so will be able to update our review then!

Are you happy with yours? Any complaints?

I am very happy whit the camera.

I have use fore the steady shoot verry offen and can by chep lenses from tamron, sigma whit ecelent optical quality.

The only thing i can realy complaints about is that those lensen are a bit slower in focus i think ?, but i dont need any faster so fore me it works nice and compared too the a 100 its mutch faster in focus.

A nother thing i can complain a bout is that i want a camera like nikon d3 and vr lenses but that i cant afford.
But in a cupel off years maby the cameras in my class are like d3 in performanc.

But i realy cant complain so mutch i think its veary good fore me and thats whats counts.

Hi qvist, I write english a little too...

The A700 had show be a good camera, the images show in very forum and web is very good.

The AF yes is more fast and sure.
Any test make the A700 in the blast mode (5fps) show a 100% of sharp in each images of the a cars move.

The noise to ISO 1600 is very under and to ISO 3200 is acceptable.

The DRO work very good and for any people this is like to edit the image in the PS.

I think that the A700 have best noise that the D300 and if is not, at least like.

The Magnum agency already it camera...
