 Post subject: a good lens for the K10d

so im having troubles deciding which lens to get with the K10d

im buying the camera this weekend and i dont know my lens' that well so can ya help?

im looking for something that can zoom fairly good (dont need anything to powerful)
but also id like one that i can get fairly close to something .

Plus i saw that for the pentax to be trully weather resistent i needed a higher end lens . how do i know which ones those are ?

Drill-lights,

An acceptable solution is the standard Pentax 55-200mm zoom. If bought with the camera, you could benefit from a bundle at bargain price.

Later on after many thousand pictures, you could decide and choose a better one.
