hi , i have a pentax k200d and the standard 18-55mm lens but need something more for catching lightning like off the coast at night or a storm during the day , i think the 300mm lens are to much for what i need.
So is there better ones like the 70, 135mm or converters are the better way to go.
Do like to capture the whole storm sometimes but im very close too but never that far away either so i think the tele lens are no good for me .
can anyone help me ???? :)

I did a wee search and 24-50ish seems to come up.
You have that range so maybe get a sharper lens in that range ?
16-45, 17-70, 16-50 or some prime :)
Sounds like technique is more to the point as well
Pete
