I love this forum and the reviews are the best of any I have seen on the internet. I would like to see the S200EXR, F200EXR, and F70EXR put to the test by Gordon. How about it Gordon, can you make it happen?

I wish they would, you do the best reviews in the business.

Thankyou very much! Since they're hard to get hold of in NZ, I may commission my UK writer to review some in the future.

Thanks for your reply Gordon. I just bought the F200EXR and thinking about buying the S200EXR. I own several older Fuji's and have had good results for each one.

Will you be using this UK stationed colleague to make Pentax reviews too Gordon? I think I read he will only be doing compact reviews but given your problems getting Pentax gear for reviews in NZ he might be in a better location to get their products. Or get them for/to you.

And mpreece. Why not write a user review about your new F200EXR here on the CL forum?

Ben

Hi Ben, yes it could be possible for my UK writer to do some Pentax reviews, so long as Pentax UK is being co-operative of course, and in the past they've again not been particularly pro-active. I also prefer to have the same writer do all the DSLRs for a fair comparison, which in this case is myself, so I don't have any plans to commission DSLR reviews from anyone else at the moment.

I'm using an old s1000fd, can't afford to move to a dslr just yet.

Any chance of passing on some old dslrs lying about there Gordon? call it charitable?

And you could say I'm your Irish post-review tester, or something, to cover yourself. Actually, just one, any one, dslr will do and I'll be your biggest fan, lol.

What do you do with the cameras after review? Do you get to keep them?

Nope, they're all returned to the manufacturers after the test period - same for all publications.
