Hi Guys!

Long time reader first time poster! I just got a new Pentax. I got the Pentax K7 with 18-55WR lens and a AF360 flash. So far everything is good! I am really happy with this camera so far. The build quality is INCREDIBLE! I love the size and weight, its perfect! So far shots have been good. I will have to play with it come more in the comming weeks! Any tips are welcome!

Welcome, and congratulations on your purchase! :D We fellow Pentaxians have all be anxiously awaiting some critique of the K-7, so please, as you go along, post your photos in the forum! We'd all love to see them, and to hear any comments you have on how the K-7 performs. There are several of us, I believe, considering an upgrade... :twisted:

Welcome to the club if it's not too late to say it..

I'd love to get your opinion on K-7 low light performance (both usage and IQ). I still have the k200d which is weather resistant but none of my lenses are.. this is why the k-x is more attractive to me at this point.. it's also cheaper of course.

If low light photography is all you're interested in, the K-x produces smoother images. You can do a comparison of image quality on other sites like DPReview and Imaging Resource.
