 Post subject: Automatic bracketing

Do any DSLR's have automatic bracketing. I.e. you hold the shutter and it takes say 5 continuous shots at EV +0 and then up down half and one stop (or whatever you preset)

Would be a useful feature and save a lot of faffing.

Yes, most of them do supports exsposure bracketing and some also supports white balance bracketing, normaly 3 pictures (Pentax supports 5 though).

You can then use HDR software (e.g. Photoshop or Photomatix) to automatically create an HDR image.

Nikon's D40 and D40x don't support bracketing, which is a pity.

It is perfectly good english as it is in "The New Oxford Dictionary Of English".... "Faff (verb) Brit informal, to bustle ineffectually, ie. we can't faff around forever, origin late 18th century.
