Hi Gordon,

This is my question:
When you make a review and you score a mid-class camera (dslr 1) with 87% and you score a low-class camera (dslr 2) with 88%, does this mean that the dslr 2 is better than dslr 1, or the score is valid only for the class in which the camera belongs to? Thank you.

Obviously scores are valid relative to which class they belong in and also the year in which the camera was reviewed.

Think about it on the more extreme terms with say a Canon 1D or Nikon D3, an amateur would hate having to lug that huge thing around, where as to look at an entry level body, a pro would hate the lack of direct access buttons etc etc

Jeremy is right, the scores are only comparable against other cameras in the same category -AND the same year.
