Hi, My name is Ranald and this is a little about me.
Since a young age, I have always been a bit of a geek, and still am. Over the past few years I have owned several compact cameras, which I tended to just play around with, as opposed to taking serious photographs. In December of 2010, I made the jump, and purchased my first ever DSLR - the Nikon D3100. So far, I have only had good experiences with it. I currently only own the bundled 18-55 kit lens, however once I have saved up some money, I am keen to buy more.
I have been a massive fan of Cameralabs since I discovered them on YouTube in the autumn of 2010. I have to say Gordon, you are fantastic at what you do and deserve more credit for it.
Well, that's it! I really look forward to diving into this forum and hopefully learning a lot from it.
Thanks!

Thank you for the kind greetings. I saw in your footer note you had the Tamron 70-300mm. This is a lens I have been considering, is it a good lens for the money? Thanks
