I recently bought the Canon T2i with the 18 to 55 mm lens. This site has help me considerably to decide which DSLR would be right for my budget. So far, I'm not disappointed. Many years ago I owned a 35mm SLR which I had lots of fun and satisfaction with. So photography is not allien to me. In fact, I work in the micro-electronics industry in which I do lots of imaging with microscopes and SEM equipment.
I hope to learn much more about my camera and DSLR techniques through this forum with tips on purchasing additional equipment for various types of photography such as landscape and Macro for instance.
