Hello everyone!

I've been visiting this site on a regular basis for about a year now and browsing this forum every now and then too, but now i thought of finally registering :)

I've been into photography for about 4 years now and used compacts mostly, since i can't afford a DSLR just yet. So far i used my fellow Canon Powershot G7 and while it's a nice camera, i kinda got to know it's limits by now. But when i'm finished with my studies, i hope to finally get an upgrade.

If you want to browse through my pictures you can take a look at my flickr stream. Nothing too special there, i consider myself still at the rookie stage :D

But thats enough for now
Snowy greetings from Germany
Andreas

Welcome Andreas!

How many times I have said Andreas... It's my brother's name! :P
Student here too, awful time to buy a camera, I know;) But, a tip: I bought my last two cameras used (but looking as new) and it's a lot cheaper then!

Cheers from Holland

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
@Ruben: Yeah, my G7 is also a used one (previous owner only made around 25 shots back then). I just need to save up a bit and of course find a good offer :)

Welcome to the Camera Labs forum Andreas!
Being a student is a great time to buy a camera. As long as you can make some money here and there, and try to spend as little as possible, you'll manage to get a nice DSLR in no time. (yes, I am a student too)
