Hello - just have to say, what an excellent website, forum and resource

I'm relatively new to this although ive had a Nikon D50 with the kit lens + a 70-200 for a few years, and im having to go canon because of the wired remote shutter release function.

So... a 450d is on its way, along with a 17-85usm which i plan to sell.

I already have a 15mm F2.8 fisheye and going to get a 50mm F1.8 Mk2 off the 'bay to play with.

Im not the biggest fan of NZone! When i was in QT in febuary they werent interested in sport jumpers. Basically if you have a licence they can only charge you for a ticket to the top and for gear hire (around $70), where as they happily charge joe tourist (whos just had a fergburger) between $500 and 600 depending if they want DVD, pics, t-shirt, USB pen, Novelty pen, magazine, goodie bag etc...
I suppose its a business, but its easy for them to put something back into the sport without seeing green all of the time ££££
