Hello,

My name is Henry and I come from the state of Victoria, Australia.

I have just taken up the hobby of photography again after a long absence. Boy! A DSLR camera is a lot different to my 35mm Nikon F-301 SLR camera.

I found this forum in a round about way. After buying my Canon EOS 450D Twin Lens IS Kit (a spur of the moment decision), I did a Google search on it and found a link to a YouTube video. After watching a lot of videos including some from Camera Labs, I ended up signing up to YouTube to keep a record of these videos. From the Camera Labs videos, I found both the Camera Labs site and the DSLR Tips site. So here I am. :D

I am still learning how the controls on a DSLR differ from a 35mm SLR. But I'll get there in the end.

I have owned two 35mm SLR cameras (only have the 35mm Nikon F-301 SLR camera now) and I own a Pentax Optio33LFcompact digital camera.

Feel free to ask about other camera I have owned in the past, or about anything else.

That's enough of an intro for now.

The only stupid question is the question that is not asked.

Thanks everyone for your welcome.

Bjorn, I didn't go to bed last night. I'm stuffed now so it will be a quick look though the forum before I get an early night.

Gordon, I'm glad I found your forum too. It was cameralabs (you), ChristopherKblog, and ErinManning that was the reason for me to sign up to YouTube. I don't have any videos to upload myself. I just wanted to keep track of good advice.

Keep up the good work.
